In Part 1, we shared the inspiration behind our 22nd anniversary celebration, a day devoted to creating connections. At the center of that event was a collaborative art project: a hand-painted mosaic mural created by the Polaris Direct team.
Now, we’re proud to unveil the completed mural… And it turned out even better than we imagined.
At first glance, the image serves as a colorful tribute to New Hampshire—our home and the place that has shaped so much of who we are as a company. But look a little closer, and you’ll see that it also tells a much deeper story. One of teamwork, identity, and the power of shared vision.
A Closer Look at the Details
A skier in mid-air captures the thrill and momentum of moving forward, mirroring our energy as a company always in motion.
A hiker walking through a forest of vibrant autumn colors speaks to exploration and endurance, qualities we’ve relied on for over 22 years.
The moose, centered and powerful, is both a local icon and a symbol of strength and resilience.
The lighthouse offers guidance and optimism, echoing the clarity and purpose we strive for every day.
“NEW HAMPSHIRE” bursts from the left side in bright, bold lettering, representing pride in our roots.
The “FOREVER USA” stamp motif reminds us that while we’re deeply local, the mail we produce reaches far and wide.
What We Learned About Teamwork
Projects like this are more than just symbolic. They serve as hands-on reminders of what strong teams can accomplish when everyone contributes with intention. Here are a few reflections we’ve taken back into our day-to-day work.
- Unity Doesn’t Mean Conformity: Each tile in the mural has its own style. Some are detailed, others abstract. Some use bold colors, others soft tones. That diversity is exactly what makes the finished piece so dynamic. It’s the same in any team: when people are encouraged to bring their full selves to the table, the result is always richer.
- Small Contributions Build Big Impact: On its own, a single tile may seem simple. But together, they form something remarkable. Whether it’s a creative idea, a thoughtful question, or a helping hand, every contribution strengthens the whole.
- Shared Purpose Creates Alignment: The beauty of this mural is that no one needed to see the full picture at the beginning. Everyone trusted the process and contributed their piece by following a small template for their own section. That’s what great teams do—they align around a shared goal, even when the outcome isn’t fully visible yet.
