Account Manager / Data Analyst, Strategic Marketing Services

Polaris Direct is currently seeking an Account Manager / Data Analyst.

As Account Manager / Data Analyst, your primary focus will be supporting the Strategic Marketing Services (SMS) team and a core group of clients across all aspects of the business, including strategic planning, brand building, data analytics, digital marketing, social media content, web development, creative services, and print production. A bundled solution, our Strategic Marketing Services team provides a value-added consultancy centered on the effective use of data to improve marketing campaign ROI.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project manage all aspects of multi-channel marketing campaigns, from conception through execution and analysis
  • Grow and maintain strong partnerships/relationships with internal Polaris team to assure the effective day-to-day servicing of clients
  • Provide timely and thorough responses to client inquiries and requests
  • Responsible for working with client supplied and/or outsourced data for use in targeted mail campaigns
  • Ensure that the schedule, cost, and quality of each program align with client expectations
  • Perform ROI analyses on clients’ marketing campaigns
  • Provide reports and communication on progress of all key performance indicators
  • Report directly to the Account Director on day-to-day activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Business
  • 2-4 years of business experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a marketing agency environment
  • Some experience as a junior data scientist, list broker / manager, or data analyst, a plus
  • Possess a working understanding of the processes associated with developing and producing marketing materials
  • Some experience with creative services, direct mail, print production, lettershop or digital marketing is required
  • Energetic, detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple projects, and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to manage multiple client demands and projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Proficient in Google Drive and Google Docs
  • Experience in various marketing software platforms such as HubSpot, Hootsuite, MailChimp, Boostability and DirectMail2.0, a plus
  • Experience using project management tools such as Asana

This position is located in our Hooksett, New Hampshire office and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment while consistently demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness. It requires the ability to work cooperatively with multiple departments in-house to champion the needs of the customers with the ability to be accommodating, communicative and decisive when needed with customers and partner suppliers. While this position offers a set schedule of Mon – Fri 8am to 5pm, hours may flex to accommodate schedules. This position requires you to complete HIPAA certification and demonstrate full comprehension of the importance of protecting client information. Production: Bindery Setup / Operators

Polaris Direct is currently seeking Production personnel for our first and second shift teams.

  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and repairing bindery equipment
  • Set up and monitor high-speed continuous form cutters and folders during operation and make necessary adjustments
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions in written and oral form
  • Ability to maintain daily manufacturing machine quotas
  • Perform quality assurance checks during production run
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Shift differential for 2nd shift employees
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 3 to 6 months related experience

Production: Inserter Operators / Sorters

Polaris Direct is currently seeking Production personnel for our first and second shift teams.

  • Operation of high-speed FlowMaster and Pinnacle inserters
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions in written and oral form
  • Ability to follow quality assurance procedures to produce error-free work
  • Ability to maintain daily job quotas
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Shift differential for 2nd shift employees
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 3 to 6 months related experience

Production: Lettershop Set-Up Operators / Mechanics

Polaris Direct is currently seeking Production personnel for our first and second shift teams.

  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and repairing lettershop equipment
  • Set up and monitor high-speed inserters, inkjet printers, and various lettershop equipment during operation and make necessary adjustments
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions in written and oral form
  • Ability to maintain daily manufacturing machine quotas
  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Shift differential for 2nd shift employees

Purchasing Coordinator

Polaris Direct is currently seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Coordinator to join our fast-paced team.

This position combines the proficiencies of customer service, project management, purchasing and vendor management. The Purchasing Coordinator will work with the Account Managers and Estimating department as a liaison between customers, partner vendors, and internal Polaris Direct departments to facilitate high-quality and timely output of work in the field of direct marketing, printing services, and 1:1 marketing campaign management. The Purchasing Coordinator will learn all aspects of Direct Mail including postal specifications, equipment specifications and personalization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute Purchase Orders
  • Obtain necessary signatures from COO or designee
  • Supply all necessary supporting documentation for Purchase Orders
  • Prepare Live Job Notifications (as required)
  • Post Art Files for Print/Outsourced jobs in accordance with established Vendor requirements
  • Review Proofs against provided artwork
  • Distribute necessary Proofs for approval upon receipt from Vendors
  • Upon approval or adjustments, notify Vendors of final quantities and verify delivery date(s)
  • Obtain necessary Proof revisions or adjustments in writing from Vendors; Revise active Purchase Order(s) to reflect cost changes and notify the Estimator of revised Job Estimate
  • Materials management including delivery schedules for paper, forms, ink, inserts, envelopes, static sets, personalized sets, and commercial print
  • Effectively communicate with all internal departments regarding any potential late deliveries that may affect production
  • Inventory of raw materials

In addition, the Purchasing Coordinator will assist the Account Managers in all aspects of the project life-cycle, including:

  • Pre-production duties: mock-ups, line-ups and other production related tasks
  • Inventory management
  • Administrative tasks: breaking tags for production, assembling production folders
  • Mail piece design
  • Postal Regulatory Compliance
  • Quality Assurance
  • Laser and Inkjet Personalization
  • Planning and scheduling

Qualifications:

  • 2 – 4 year college degree in business or equivalent industry experience
  • Prior experience in direct mail or printing industry
  • Knowledge of business concepts, practices and procedures
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong follow-up skills, self-assured, work independently

Quality Assurance Auditor, Data Processing

Polaris Direct is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to join our Data Processing team.

The Quality Assurance Auditor will review and validate the data and content for all personalized documents created by our Data Processing team. Working with customer requirements and instructions, the Quality Assurance Auditor will ensure accurate output in the field of direct marketing, printing services, and 1:1 marketing campaign management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day Quality Assurance for Data Processing
  • Ensure that all quality control procedures are followed
  • Understand how to read and interpret internal work orders and client requirements
  • Inspect output at key checkpoints in the data processing workflow to ensure that the output matches job ticket requirements and client instructions
  • Audit PDF proofs to verify data is populating correctly and business rules are followed, pursuant to client requirements
  • Have the ability to review both digital and hardcopy proofs
  • File verified paperwork after inspection
  • Make corrective action suggestions to the management team
  • Develop working knowledge of mail piece design, United States Postal Service (USPS) standards, and other key direct marketing industry ideas and concepts
  • Develop understanding of high-volume, 4-color Variable Data Inkjet Printing
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Proactively identify quality issues and concerns
  • Communicate effectively with all departments

Qualifications:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness. It requires the ability to work cooperatively with multiple departments in-house to champion the needs of our customer(s). It requires the ability to be accommodating and communicative, yet firm when needed, with Polaris Direct’s customers and partner suppliers. While this position offers a set schedule of Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm, it also requires flexibility to change schedules or work overtime as needed during projects or campaigns that may require it.
