HOOKSETT, N.H. (May 13, 2022)—PINE has announced that Polaris Direct, a nationally acclaimed direct marketing services and printing company, is a multi-award winner in the association’s New England regional Awards of Excellence competition. The announcement was made to industry professionals in attendance at PINE’s 2022 Celebration of Print, held at the Pierce House in Lincoln, MA on May 12.
Celebrating 135 years of serving printing companies across New England, and 15 years of the Awards of Excellence competition, PINE attracted print professionals and vendors from around the country to celebrate all the creativity and expertise that goes into producing printed collateral. Polaris Direct received two Awards of Recognition for being the runner up to Best of Category for Direct Mail: B2B and Digital Printing: Variable Data. Entries to these categories included Polaris Direct’s 2021 Holiday Card – a multi-channel campaign that highlighted their Print 1 Plant 1 sustainability initiative where trees were planted in U.S. National Forests on the behalf of responders in an effort to support the print industry’s renewable resources – and the 2021 Recruitment Campaign for CareFree Insurance Services, which took a highly-personalized, multi-channel approach to inviting prospective agents to join the CareFree team.
Each entry was judged anonymously by a panel of judges with extensive experience in printing and print production. The judging criteria included: registration, clarity and neatness, sharpness of halftones and line drawings, richness and tonal qualities of color, paper and ink selection, ink coverage, difficulty of printing, effective contrast or softness, overall visual impact and bindery.
