MINIMIZING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
As a nationally acclaimed direct marketing services provider, we have a responsibility to do our best to reduce our environmental impact.
Polaris Direct has taken the DMA/ANA Green 15 Pledge, committing to follow a set of operating principles for efficient and responsible marketing that affect environmental performance. We have earned a Silver rating (top 90th percentile) from EcoVadis for sustainability. It is also important to Polaris to work with partners who are Forest Stewardship Council and Rain Forest Alliance certified.
In addition, we are in the process of becoming certified by the Sustainable Green Printing (SGP) Partnership for our printing practices and manufacturing operations. The SGP encourages participation in the worldwide movement to reduce environmental impact and increase social responsibility within the printing industry. This certification is given to those who have built an ongoing sustainable approach to doing business every day.
We’ve taken significant steps to improve the efficiency of our office and production floor, reducing energy usage via motion-activated lighting and heat redistribution, implementing paper recycling, and most recently, installing LED lighting throughout our facility to help decrease our carbon footprint.
Our commitment to service extends beyond our customer base. Polaris Direct supports organizations that align with our core values of trust, innovation, dependability, quality, diversity, integrity, flexibility, and courage—and we encourage our employees to donate their time or skill sets to local organizations on a regular basis.
