HOOKSETT, NEW HAMPSHIRE (May 9, 2016)—UnitedHealth Group has recognized Polaris Direct, a nationally acclaimed direct marketing services provider, with the Impact Award for Innovation.

The award recognizes Polaris’ significant contribution to UHG’s supplier diversity program. Polaris is a certified women-owned business through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.

“For the Polaris Direct team, this award is the highest honor we could achieve,” Director and CEO Judith Maloy said. “It not only says that we are meeting and exceeding their expectations for good service, but it also says thank you for a job well done.”

Polaris Direct provides direct mail and lettershop services to UHG and has been a supplier since 2009. After solving a challenging production issue for the healthcare company, Polaris earned a U.S. patent in 2014 for their innovative equipment configuration.

“It is a privilege to work with UHG, and we look forward to continuing our work with them in the years to come,” said Maloy.

Along with Maloy, Polaris President and COO Joe Maloy and Executive Vice President Tom Lampognana were on hand to accept the award at UHG’s corporate headquarters in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
