Polaris Direct Hires New VP of Sales, Expands Service Offering

HOOKSETT, N.H. (April 7, 2016)—Polaris Direct is pleased to announce the hiring of John Cunneen, Vice President of Sales.

A sales executive with over 20 years of experience in enterprise level sales and sales leadership, Cunneen has expertise in the direct marketing and fundraising industries and brings a consultative, solutions-oriented approach to his clients. As VP of Sales, Cunneen is responsible for managing existing key customer relationships while developing new business opportunities across all verticals.

Cunneen works closely with members of the Sales and Strategic Marketing Services teams to establish innovative, high return direct marketing programs for large volume clients in the Fortune 500, marketing agency, and large non-profit spaces.

“John brings a depth of knowledge and experience to our team that I believe will enhance our service offering—bringing smart solutions to our clients,” said Joe Maloy, President and COO.

Prior to joining Polaris Direct, Cunneen held executive positions at The Cunneen Company, as well as Cathedral Corporation.

In addition to hiring Cunneen, Polaris Direct has also expanded its offering to include Strategic Marketing Services.

“We’re always looking to the future, and the future is all about bringing technology and data together with marketing,” said Director and CEO Judith Maloy. “It’s an exciting time in the direct marketing industry. We’re poised and ready to continue supporting our clients with new technologies designed to create highly personalized, one-to-one communications and support data-driven strategy.”

She added, “The recent installation of a Screen Truepress 520ZZ exemplifies our commitment to staying focused on providing quality and innovative print communications that drive Polaris Direct’s plans for dynamic growth.”

A bundled solution, Strategic Marketing Services provides a consultancy centered around data-driven strategy, creative execution, and multi-channel campaign tracking and analysis. Additionally, the utilization of a fully integrated digital workflow helps simplify content and campaign management for variable data inkjet campaigns, ensuring that direct marketers send the right message to the right person at the right time.

As Judith Maloy puts it, the new marketing service offering is a “combination of talent, technology, and services able to measure the customer experience.”

She said, “We have intentionally worked to put a strong team of talented creative professionals in place. We work with data and the mail every day, and we want to help our clients achieve even more, now and in the future.”
