Corporate Social Responsibility

Committed to sustainable practices in all facets of our business—and giving back to causes aligned with our values.

MINIMIZING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
As a nationally acclaimed direct marketing services provider, we have a responsibility to do our best to reduce our environmental impact.

Polaris Direct has achieved certification through the Sustainable Green Printing (SGP) Partnership for our printing practices and manufacturing operations. The SGP encourages participation in the worldwide movement to reduce environmental impact and increase social responsibility within the printing industry. This certification is given to those who have built an ongoing sustainable approach to doing business.

We have earned a Silver rating (top 87th percentile) from EcoVadis for sustainability. Our status with EcoVadis exemplifies our commitment to being good stewards in our community and for the planet.

We hold a Forest Stewardship Council® Chain-of-Custody certification (FSC® C189653). FSC® defines standards based on agreed principles for responsible forest stewardship that are supported by environmental, social, and economic stakeholders. Learn more at www.fsc.org.

We also hold a Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) Chain-of-Custody certification, one of the leading certifications in North America to show traceability of wood, paper, and forest fiber content from certified responsible forests.

We’ve taken significant steps to improve the efficiency of our office and production floor, reducing energy usage via motion-activated lighting and heat redistribution, implementing a robust recycling program, installing water-saving fixtures on all faucets, and most recently, installing LED lighting throughout our facility to help decrease our carbon footprint.
