Driver

Polaris Direct is currently seeking a Driver to join our Team. This individual will be responsible for accompanying company officers on business trips and performing other various tasks as assigned. This is a Part-Time position with occasional paid overnight travel. Typical work week will be 20-30 hours.

Individual will be responsible for:

  • Transporting/driving company officers on business trips and providing transportation to and from meetings.
  • Escorting clients and visitors to and from company premises.
  • Acting as a courier of important documents to potential and existing clients.
  • Performing administrative errands such as going to the Post Office, FedEx, the bank etc.
  • Run errands for company officials as needed.
  • Deliver or pick up materials needed for the production group.
  • Occasional overnight travel with company officers to Mid-Atlantic region (CT, NY, NJ & PA)
  • Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance of company vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain company vehicles for cleanliness and travel-ready at all times.

Candidate should have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). Previous experience in a courier/driver capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter able to thrive in the fast pace of business-to-business services.
  • Valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle record.
  • Subject to criminal background check, drug screening and random testing

Production: Bindery Setup / Operators

Polaris Direct is currently seeking Production personnel for our first and second shift teams.

  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and repairing bindery equipment
  • Set up and monitor high-speed continuous form cutters and folders during operation and make necessary adjustments
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions in written and oral form
  • Ability to maintain daily manufacturing machine quotas
  • Perform quality assurance checks during production run
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Shift differential for 2nd shift employees
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 3 to 6 months related experience

Production: Inserter Operators / Sorters

Polaris Direct is currently seeking Production personnel for our first and second shift teams.

  • Operation of high-speed FlowMaster and Pinnacle inserters
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions in written and oral form
  • Ability to follow quality assurance procedures to produce error-free work
  • Ability to maintain daily job quotas
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Shift differential for 2nd shift employees
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 3 to 6 months related experience

Production: Lettershop Set-Up Operators / Mechanics

Polaris Direct is currently seeking Production personnel for our first and second shift teams.

  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and repairing lettershop equipment
  • Set up and monitor high-speed inserters, inkjet printers, and various lettershop equipment during operation and make necessary adjustments
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions in written and oral form
  • Ability to maintain daily manufacturing machine quotas
  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Shift differential for 2nd shift employees
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 3 to 6 months related experience

Vice President of Business Development—Direct Mail

Polaris Direct is currently seeking a Vice President of Business Development—Direct Mail to join our team. Responsibilities include prospecting new clients and sales, as well as sales presentations and client meetings. Candidate should be a highly motivated, solutions-oriented sales professional with experience in the direct marketing industry and expertise in consultative selling. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years experience in direct marketing sales and business development. Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, project management software and CRM.
